2010 CLINICIANS

Our clinicians GIVE us their time.  If you had to pay to see their clinics, it would cost several hundred dollars for a weekend of clinics.  They each come with their own experiences, expertise and individual ways to work with horses.   Please let them know you APPRECIATE their time.  Talk with them at their booths!

Kitty's Children on Mustangs she trained

Kitty Lauman grew up with horses under the guidance of legendary horse gentler, John Sharp, her Granddad.  She spent the summers working with the young horses, learning all she could.  She went on to compete and excelled in rodeo, queen competitions, horse shows and is now a full time horse trainer with her husband Rick Lauman and their two young children Tanner and Josie.  Together as Lauman Training they have produced 4 professional horse-training videos to help people understand how to work with their horses.  They have also been featured in notable magazines such as Western Horseman, Horse Illustrated, on the radio (Rick Lamb's) and in clinics from coast to coast.

Kitty is now a top competitor in the Mounted Shooting, placing Third Over All Lady in the 2008 CMSA World Championship Shoot in Texas! Kitty also competed in the first ever Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge in 2007, coming out Reserve Champion with Ranger.  She then purchased Ranger and he is the horse she is showing today! Ranger is now a 6-year-old Nevada Mustang that won the hearts if many during the weekly videos that were posted during his training in for the Mustang Makeover. Ranger has a great personality and a heart of gold!  He has been a fantastic addition to the Lauman family helping out around the ranch with colts and taking care of his riders in the hills.
