The Following Horses and Burro will be available to view ALL DAY Friday, August 15 and until noon on Saturday at the Reno Livestock Events Center.  The live Auction/Adoption will begin at Noon on Saturday

Come check out the prison gentling program.  Inmates will be on hand to talk about the program and show off their Mustangs.

Burrito                       BLM#705B                 Age: 2

 

This is a nice gentle burro who is halter broke and he really likes people.  He has had his feet handled and has been trailer loaded.

 

Deuce                          BLM#0376                 Age: 4

Height: 15.2 H                        Weight: 1050 lbs

 Brown gelding, star, strip and snip.

 Deuce is well mannered who side passes, walks, trots and lopes in both direction.  He is always “ready to go” in the morning.  He is just an all around nice ride.

 

Good Medicine          Nevada Estray #1324 Age 3

Height: 15 H               Weight: 1000 lbs

 

Brown gelding, star, strip, snip, connected, right front sock, right & left rear sock.

Walks, trots, lopes, backs up and side passes.  Has independent movement of shoulder and hindquarters.  Trailer loads and is well behaved.

 

 

Information               BLM: 0411                 Age: 4

Height: 15.1 H                        Weight: 1150 lbs

 

Grey Gelding, right and left rear coronet

He side passes, trailer loads, stops great, and is good about his feet.  He has been loffed off of, comes into the halter, and has lots of personality. 

They named him information because his BLM number is 0411

Ranger                       BLM #4042                Age: 4

Height: 14.3                Weight 1025

Sorrel, flaxen main and tail, right hind sock, and left hind stocking

Ranger has been willing to learn every since we started him.  He is a very smart colt that will side pass, back up, disengage his front and rear and lope.  He is very well behaved when being rimmed and groomed.  He will make someone a very good riding buddy.  

Royal                          BLM #8671                Age: 5

Height: 15 H               Weight: 1050 lbs

Blue Roan

Royal is a 5 year old blue roan that is sound.  He is very gentle and well behaved.  He will side pass, back up, trot, lope and walk.  He is very good about his feet, and has been trimmed.  He will also trailer with no problems and is rope friendly.

 

Scooter                       BLM #9226                Age: 5

Height: 15 H               Weight: 1150 lbs

Scooter is a very spirited horse.  He trailer loads, drags a log, and you can swing a rope on him.  He is very easily saddled.  He has a big hard and mind, and would be a horse willing to do anything you ask him to do. 

 

Shorty             Nevada Estray #1065             Age: 3

Height: 13.3 Hands     Weight: 750 lbs

 

Brown gelding, star, trip, snip connected lower lip, left front sock, and right ftont pastern.

 

This strong, compact horse is well mannered and a little shy.  With a lot of love and attention, he will warm right up to you and will do all that you ask.  He walks, trots, lopes and stops well.  He can also back up and side pass, making it great to open gates without having to dismount.  Even with his short legs, he is eager to “HOP” into the back of the trailer.

 

Solo                             Nevada Estray #1319      Age: 7

Height: 13.1 H               Weight: 575 lbs

 

Red Roan

 

Gentle on the ground.  Has been ridden – Yard ornament. 

Tug                  Nevada Estray  #1243                 Age: 7

Height: 14 Hands           Weight: 800 lbs

 

Buckskin gelding, star, streak, snip, connected lower lip, two front socks and right rear sock.

This well behaved horse will meet you at the gate in the morning and walk into the halter.  He will stand still while you groom him, pick his feet and saddle him.    He walks, trots, lopes, and will stop on a dime.  He will back up, side pass, and has independent movement of both his hindquarters and shoulders.  This eager to please horse will easily trailer load when you come to take him home.

 
   

Two Tone                   Nevada Estray #1213 Age: 3

Height: 14.2H             Weight: 1000 lbs

 

This horse is very well behaved and well mannered.  With a lot of love and attention, he will do whatever you ask.  He walks, trots, lopes and stops great.  He can also back up and side pass, which works well for opening and closing gates without having to dismount.  He can also drag a log and trailer loads.  This horse is great for trail rides.
