RICK LAMB'S RADIO PROGRAM, "THE HORSE SHOW" WILL BE BROADCAST FROM EXPO, with Rick Lamb emceeing many of our events!!!!

A lifelong horse lover, radio host Rick Lamb is also a talented musician, writer and audio engineer. Since 1977, he has been the guiding force behind Lambchops Studios, one of the country's top audio production companies. In 1997, he made his entry into the world of talk radio with the launch of The Horse Show with Rick Lamb, a two-hour weekly syndicated program on horses that has since garnered nine national awards. He followed that up in 1999 with The Horse Show Minute, a weekday syndicated radio feature. Today, Rick is heard on more than 130 radio stations and the Internet, and appears at numerous horse expos and special events each year. Rick’s first book, The Revolution in Horsemanship, co-authored by Dr. Robert M. Miller, came out to rave reviews in late 2004. His second book, Horse Smarts for the Busy Rider, was released in early 2006. Rick and his wife, Diana, live in Phoenix with three horses and a cat. They have three grown children.

USMC COLOR GUARD

We are trying really, really hard to get the Marine Corp Color Guard up here.  We just have to pay for expenses (gas, food, stalls for the horses and hotel rooms) - We have the hotel rooms covered with a donation of $250.00, the stall charges are covered...We are now trying to raise money for food and fuel.

We have a Mustang Mom that is a very talented jewelry maker.  She made us 4 pairs of earrings that we sold at the Reno Rodeo for $15.00 each (That's another $45!) and she just sent me another 7 pairs of ear rings (She is donating them - No charge to us, and 100% of the proceeds go to bringing up the Marine Corp Color Guard from Barstow.)  We also sold one of her necklaces for $45 and she gave 100% of that sale.

Now, instead of "begging" for money - I know everyone gets hit from all sorts of non profits for donations...we have 7 pairs of earrings to sell....Picture below.  They cost $15 (one pair is $12).

Our hope for the Marine Corp Color Guard is to have them do a couple of performances to get the "horses" used to noise, flags, etc...If the riders want to participate in any of the classes, that will be up to them.  We are SO excited to have these Mustangs in the Color Guard that we want them to do well.  We think it is WONDERFUL exposure for our Mustangs! The  Expo seems like a nice "start" to their performing...

Let me know if you are interested in a pair of earrings!  (They are very cute).  I do have individual shots of the earrings also, so I can send that to you if you like.
